If you’re a passionate yoga practitioner, you’ve probably noticed the benefits of yoga. Maybe you’re sleeping better or getting fewer colds or just feeling more relaxed. We improve a lot with yoga as it: Protects your spine; Increases your blood flow; Drops your blood pressure; Helps ease depression; helps maintaining body weight; maintains heart rate; Lowers blood sugar, etc.
Coming from humble beginnings, there was an innate feeling of respect toward education in my family, and my interest played a vital role to help me inculcate the same attitude. The sheer interest in the medical stream helped me successfully complete my B.H.M.S. degree. After a few years of practice and experience, serving at various hospitals across Pune, I observed a lack of proper lifestyle and fitness among today’s generation leading to many health issues and this led to the aim of helping people to stay fit and healthy. It was unknowingly the first step towards my dream of a fitness studio.
The 2020 covid outbreak really motivated me and gave a boost to my idea of helping and contributing to society with my knowledge and background, just by staying at home. Lockdown forced people to stay within the walls. Uncertainty about Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and the resulting lockdown caused widespread panic, stress, and anxiety. Yoga is a known practice that reduces stress and anxiety and may enhance immunity. This study aimed to investigate whether including Yoga in daily routine is beneficial for physical and mental health, and to evaluate the lifestyle of Yoga practitioners that may be instrumental in coping with stress associated with the lockdown.
After deep research on the subject and some proper necessary certifications, I arrived finally, and with only 4 students on June 30, 2021, Mangeshi Yoga Studio was established and I gave my first online yoga class and training session. Today, with the grace of god, a lot of hard work, and most importantly the belief of our students, the studio is successfully running 4 online batches with students from PAN India and also abroad connected to us via yoga training. Slowly with experience and knowledge I also started with professional nutritional support to the required, in order stay fitter. The main motive behind starting the yoga and fitness studio was a vision to help people stay physically fit through A 5000 years old method called YOGA. Just by inculcating some ethics of basic regular exercises and fitness training one can achieve good strength and deal with many problems on our own. You are invited to join our initiative and stay healthy with us!
We are here to create health awareness and to provide Holistic Health to the humanity all over the world. As we believe health is sum of physical, mental, emotional, socio- economical and spiritual well being. Thus it can be called holistic health!
